about
IPASHRI

I am a functional nutrition consultant and founder of NOURISH. I originally came from a business background and have a bachelors in computer science and masters in economics from the London School of Economics. However, a couple years into my finance role, I discovered that I had an autoimmune disease (celiac disease) which significantly impacted the nutrition and lifestyle choices I had to make. In my free time, I like to discover new recipes and spend time rock climbing and paddle boarding with my two daughters and husband.

Thus began my journey into the art and science of nutrition. My interest in better understanding the science of nutrition led me to study at the Institute of Optimum Nutrition, London. As I studied, my fascination for the healing aspects of food bloomed. At the same time, I began to mix the things I learned around using food as medicine with my existing passion for cooking. I have taken numerous cooking classes at Cordon Blu and Cordon Vert and also traveled to Thailand, Italy, Spain and other countries to study local cuisines. I am passionate about food and making healthy eating delicious! For the last few years, I have also worked as a nutritional consultant at the Center for Functional Medicine in Stamford, CT.

Contrary to popular opinion, great health and great food go hand in hand. As a Functional Nutrition Consultant and Lifestyle Educator, I want to teach people how to transform their health using the power of good food. I offer practical, manageable solutions that help make changes while feeling inspired and encouraged. I offer private nutrition counseling and meal planning – all designed to help you reclaim your health, lose weight and support your family’s health and growth.
